(Nashville, Tennessee) –March 31, 2010 – Premier Productions, America’s leading producer of Christian themed events, will present a groundbreaking fall conference, Crowder’s Fantastical Church Music Conference, the creative brainchild of David Crowder of the award winning David Crowder*Band, a group credited as becoming major musical influencers globally in the new face of modern worship.

The three day conference/workshop, open to all interested registrants, will be held September 30 thru October 2nd on campus at Baylor University in Waco, Texas –hometown to the band and alma mater to the man who rose from being a local worship leader in Waco while still attending Baylor, to finding his music and band connecting internationally. As witnessed by their latest album, Church Music, released last fall, David Crowder*Band’s influence with vertically charged, self-written, electronic driven praise of God through music has left an indelible mark on the face of modern worship.

The fall conference will feature David Crowder*Band, hosting an impressive array of some of the leading artists and speakers involved with contemporary/modern/post modern music and ministry, as well as a sampling of exciting new voices and influencers in the genre.

Artists/speakers scheduled to appear over the three day schedule include: Jars of Clay, Hillsong London, Matt Redman, Leeland, Rob Bell, Louie Giglio, Israel Houghton, Matt Maher, David Dark, Gungor, Derek Webb, Bob Kauflin, David Taylor, The Welcome Wagon, Bifrost Arts, Charlie Peacock, John Mark McMillan, Paper Route, The Civil Wars, Mike Crawford, and His Secret Siblings.

Crowder’s Fantastical Church Music Conference is described by its out-of the-box creative founder as, “A brave, chivalrous endeavor. We want to let those in attendance explore the purposes of congregational singing in their respective settings, as well as give exposure to music and thoughts that will inspire beautiful things,” notes David Crowder.

Premier Productions has plans to develop the Crowder conference as an annual presentation on their broad based platform of unique Christian themed special events and concerts.

“Since announcement that tickets are now on sale, we have seen a flood of interest in the conference from literally all over the world,” notes Shane Quick, Vice-President of Premier Productions’ Concert Division. “We’re proud to be partnering with David Crowder*Band on such an amazing creative, cutting-edge event with one of the greatest worship line-ups ever presented.”

David Crowder is convinced the conference will impact and influence hearts and lives. He notes; “Choosing what songs the church sings is a critical job. We hope to create an environment that will help us collectively and creatively think about this task, inspire us in our efforts, and challenge us as people and leaders.”
